We cannot use:
Library discards, text books, book club editions, magazines or papers, family bibles, adult series western (Longarm, etc...), adult series romances (Harlequin, etc...), old encyclopedia sets.

Pricing Policy:
Paperback fiction is USUALLY one-half (1/2) the original publisher's price, $1.00 minimum. Hardback fiction and nonfiction are priced by the judgement of Baker Street Books.

New Books:
All new books will have a pricing sticker/label attached.

Buying policy:
Cash is paid at a rate of 10% of the publisher's list price appearing on the paperback books. We will buy hardback books upon the judgement of Baker Street Books.

Trading Policy:
We will issue a trade credit of 25% of the publisher's list price appearing on the paperback books. Example: If we determine that we can sell your trade-in at $2.00, we will allow a $1.00 trade credit.
If you have sufficient trade credit, you are charged no cash when trading. A record of your trade credit will be kept at the store for your convenience. Please expect some processing time in the determination of your credit.
